Event structure
All events delivered through our webhook system follow the CloudEvents specification, an industry standard for describing event data in a consistent and interoperable way.
Each event includes:

id | A unique identifier for the event |
source | a value indicating where the event comes from, i.e. https://api.futureordering.com |
type | The event type, e.g. com.futureordering.order.created |
specversion | The CloudEvents specification version, e.g. 1.0 |
time | Timestamp when the event occurred |
dataContentType | The media type of the event payload, i.e. application/json |
data | The actual event data payload, such as information about what has happened and to whom |
